early local trips

one of the first things i drove out to see was the wild horse wind farm. the rest is a photo history that can be found on these pages. most of the things i remember about washington i can find in this picture. the greens for all seasons, the barren rock, the lone long road leading into the shadows and the promise of more rock, the blue skies likely featuring a lone bird and a couple of clouds. and since barely out of the picture you could easily miss the columbia river. it's missing truckloads of snow.
