i ran a fresh roll of kodak b&w film to revive my once-upon-a-time film-developing skills. i didn't expect to finish the roll in one day. i was done with it before reaching the umtanum canyon where i had hoped to start photo framing the nature. unprepared, i had to see the evening light out with my cellphone camera. really funny, (not that funny) is the choice of film; the foliage was so rich in colors, in particular the yellow. i do know how to pick out seasons for b&w shooting. here, i will start out with some trees, lush in yellow, b&w yellow. a huddle of trees
